Elizabeth Allen

Elizabeth Heller Allen is a multi-industry communications and branding executive with 30 years of experience. She has led the communications organizations of such well known global companies as Dell, Raytheon, Staples and Loral (now part of Lockheed Martin). In addition, Elizabeth has held senior leadership positions in the financial services industry at Citicorp and most recently Huntington Bank, and in healthcare for a not-for-profit healthcare system in Southwest Ohio.

She serves on the board of advisors of Northwestern University’s Medill School, was inducted into its Hall of Achievement in 1997, delivered the 2002 commencement speech to its Integrated Marketing Communications graduation and was an adjunct professor of Crisis Communications.

In addition, she has been a guest lecturer on crisis and general communications at The Stern School of Business at New York University, The Tuck School at Dartmouth, The University of Texas at Austin and The Fisher School of Business at The Ohio State University’s Executive Education series.

In Columbus, OH where she resides, she serves on the executive committee of the board of the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus and is chair of its Humanitarian of the Year Award luncheon, and is active in promoting the miracle of organ transplantation through the Wexner Medical Center’s Comprehensive Transplant Program at The Ohio State University.

Elizabeth is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and received an MBA from Indiana University.
