Renée Francese Associate
Renée is an associate at PulsePoint Group where she primarily focuses on boardroom services and social media counseling, working with Kimberly-Clark, Nokia Siemens Networks and Innovate Texas, among others. Renée works closely with clients leveraging her experience in corporate technology marketing and corporate communications strategy.
Prior to joining PulsePoint Group, Renée was an account executive in a Texas-based communications consulting firm. There, her responsibilities included web design and media relations. She also had a key role in developing social media strategies and implementation across a broad base of the firm’s clients.
Previously, Renée worked at Symantec Corporation, in their Cupertino headquarters. While there she supported the channel group, including assisting the vice-president of the sales channel with partner and communications strategy. Renée represented Symantec at partner events abroad. In addition, she supported the corporate public relations team, creating corporate materials and assisting with event planning on projects such as their annual Vision in Las Vegas. Renée was responsible for media outreach to both domestic and international journalists.
As a student at The University of Texas at Austin, Renée interned at Austin-based ad agency GSD&M, as well as at IBM.
Renée holds a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications from The University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Business. She serves on the marketing committee for Austin’s A Legacy of Giving, a local non-profit that implements philanthropy into school’s curriculum. She is also a member of the Texas Exes Austin Chapter.
